This month brings new life to ScoutHelp 
With no activity for 4 months we have kick it into gear, with a new theme which has been fully tested, new content and features on the way and a lot more search engine optimization from zubmit.org.uk
New theme now live - We have a new theme in which is here to make the site more lively and friendly for younger scouters while still looking professional for the young at heart ones.
If you have any comments about it please leave them at Comments
If you prefer the old theme sign up, login and go-to my preferences at the top of the page and set the skin to monobook.
This month we have also started the quiz project. This will provide some simple quizzes for Scout groups to get members to do at home online or that could be printed off and handed out at a Hut evening. Of course you could always do it yourself to test your knowledge... If you have any comments about this or a quiz you would like to see please speak up
We also have a new partner in crime which is providing us with theme help and some programing help Spread-Spiceworks - You wont see them mentioned much they just want a link placed, we should be getting one back though... fingers crossed.
Hopefully this time we can keep the momentum going.

03rd - I are incredibly sorry about nearly 2 months of downtime this was due to a major server problem in which left me with no Apache web server. I have had to rebuild the server and restore all the data from a backup. We have not lost any information luckily and hope to now continue normal service on a better faster server. Andy

17th - Added ability to use flash videos - Added for future use with video tutorials - Have a look at Jamboree_2007 for the first flash embedded video of the Jamboree in 2007
17th - Tried to add RSS feeds but failed

20th - I have just been given £50 of Google ad vouchers to use with this site. Hopefully we can get some more users going to try and tidy up some of the content over the next day or two.

23rd - Were back after two days of down time. We are very sorry about the downtime it was done to lack of server resources. We have fixed the problem and we are fully operational again.

25th - You can now access this site from www.ScoutHelp.org.uk this domain was purchased from one of our sponsor sites with the money made from its profits.
18th - ScoutHelp marketing plan in place to start early next month. All will be reveled when I have the final details from our sponsor (Unnamed)
18th - Help Section started up, we are putting more detail in about using the site. Help
18th - ScoutHelp TinyLink/TinyURL back up and running.
18th - Camp Songs have be sorted out and are now in a easier to understand view
18th - A few of the old pages which had not been updated in ages have just had a small revamp to keep the in fitting with rest of site.
18th - An advanced stats logging system has just been put into place, this will allow us to track visitors easier and fine out where people are coming from and if there are any 404 page errors and which page they tried to access to get to it.
18th - The blue header images has now been added (last piece in puzzle) and I'm off to bed, its just gone 12:30
18th - With a lot of changes to the theme and new things being tried out with the new version we have got the site back up and stable. The downtime caused was the transaction time + time to find out what cool new stuff we could make it do.
17th - We are now running the latest version of Media-Wiki again (after new release)
17th - We have started to categorize the pages
17th - ICT Staged Badge Added as well as information about how to help scouts get the badge
17th - Big tidy up in action, hopefully you will see improvement to the site in the upcoming days and weeks.

4th - Sorry about today's downtime, we had problems with our servers which meant this and all my other sites went down. They are back up and working now

Version of Media-Wiki updated, as we do not run the latest version of php we can not have the latest media Wiki but we are keeping up to date with patches for our version
Google AdSense now used, to keep this site running i need money to pay for the domain and server so have brought in Google AdSense in which will hopefully bring in enough to pay for hosting and any extra will be used to enhance this site
Come son - A TinyUrl clone for SccoutHelp so you can shrink the URL s used on this site and hand them out to your Beavers, Cub, Scouts, and not have to give lengthy instructions
